Expanding Our Fleet
Parking and Transportation Services added three more hybrid buses to the university’s alternative energy fleet bringing the total number of hybrid buses on campus to 10. Since introducing them to the fleet in 2012, the use of hybrid buses has led to a decrease in fuel consumption and reduced emissions by 25 percent compared to diesel-powered buses.

Four new bicycles were added to the Blue Bikes program resulting in a total of 34 bikes available to staff, faculty and students. The Central Student Government provided the funding for the additional four bicycles that were added to circulation in the winter semester.
