Climate Change Adaptation Road Trip
Two recent graduates from the School of Natural Resources and Environment set out on a road trip across the United States to uncover how people in different places are adapting to changing climate. Over a three-month period, the two traveled to 31 states and more than 17,300 miles to document the technology used by climate resilient cities.
Stemming from a project for the “Sustainability and the Campus” course, the creators of Go Blue Box, a reusable takeout container program piloted last year at the University Club in the Michigan Union, have taken their efforts one step farther. These recent Erb Institute graduates have created “BizeeBox,” a startup that brings their reusable takeout container to local area restaurants in the effort to reduce waste created in the food industry.
