Energy Management


Looking for information on energy conservation? You’ve come to the right place. We’re the Energy Management Team, and we’re committed to energy conservation everywhere on campus.

The Energy Management team will deliver the following services to all major campus buildings:

  • Identify energy waste during building walk-throughs
  • Monitor fan scheduling & runtime reports
  • Monitor monthly utility consumption for variations
  • Coordinate steam trap testing
  • Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance regions (energy conservation)
  • Provide Sustainability Report Cards
  • Engage occupants on energy conservation behaviors
  • Serve as main contact for building facility manager regarding energy issues

Buildings that are identified as high stakes (major energy consumers) will receive additional services such as:

  • Review BAS programming/trend
  • Assist in ReCx scope definition with EM engineers
  • Conduct Steam trap testing on high stakes systems (i.e. chillers)
  • Conduct after-hour building walk-throughs
  • Identify and assist in developing energy conservation measures
